Prayer Pal Diary

December. 2011:

Thu. 1st Please pray for Helen Ellison our Youth Co-ordinator. Pray that God keeps her well and gives her wisdom and inspiration to lead our Youth Leaders.

Fri. 2nd Ichthus– Pray for all our young folk as they come into church. Pray for all our Leaders and helpers as they approach the young people for prayer requests.

Sat. 3rd GAP – Please pray for all members of GAP as they appear this afternoon at

Stockport Plaza. Pray that everyone will remember what they’re doing and that they

will be able to tell the real Christmas story.

Sun. 4th Pray for our All Age Worship this morning that the children will enjoy worshipping with the adults.

Mon. 5th Pathfinders – Pray for the Pathfinders whilst they are in school: That their faith will keep them strong when forced into things against their will.

Tue. 6th Pray for Pupils and staff at Manor Green School. Thank God for the relationship that the school has with St. Mary’s.

Wed. 7th Brownies – Please pray for our Little Rainbow Brownies, that God will bless them and keep them safe during these long dark nights.

Thu. 8th Little Lambs – Please pray for our Nativity Story. Out Little Lambs will all dress up and will hear the Christmas Story. . Please pray for those mums who will be hearing the miracle of Jesus’ birth.

Fri. 9^th Little Lambs – As we do our Nativity with the Friday children, please once again bring the mums who don’t know Jesus before the Lord. Please also pray for the Ichthus meeting tonight.

Sat. 10^th Jam – Pray for Debbie and her team as another “Jam session” (Jesus and Me)

will be in church this afternoon, pray for God’s blessings on“Jam” and all those who organize it.

Sun. 11^th Youth Fellowship – We’re having our Christmas meal tonight at the Spice Inn,

Please pray for fun and fellowship.

Mon. 12^th Youth Fellowship – Pray for Karen and Ian Lewis as they lead our Youth Fellowship, pray for protection for all our teenagers.

Tue. 13^th Brownies – Please pray for all Brownies of the world, as they learn about the sisterhood of Guiding, pray especially for those in war torn countries.Wed. 14^th Childrens Church– Praise God for our Youth Leaders and pray especially for Janet at this busy time of year.

Thu. 15^th Little Lambs – Please pray for our Christmas Party today and tomorrow, pray that our little ones and their mums have a lovely time and enjoy singing about Jesus.

Fri. 16^th Ichthus – Pray for all our members that they will know the true meaning of

Christmas. Pray they will have a special touch from Jesus this year.

Sat. 17^th Pray for our family night tonight as “Nativity” is shown in church; pray for all those attending that they will enjoy the fun, and pray especially for anyone coming into church for the first time.

Sun. 18^th Pray for our Carols By Candlelight service tonight. Pray for those who don’t normally come into church that they may hear the Word.

Mon. 19^th Please pray for Manor Green and Corrie Schools as they come into church this week for their Christmas Assemblies. Pray for Martin and Kate and Helen and Steph. as they lead these services.

Tue. 20^th Pathfinders -Please give thanks for the privilege of teaching His children. Please pray for God to grant his knowledge, wisdom and kindness into their hearts.

Wed. 21^st Please pray for all our leaders that they will have a time of rest and church fellowship over Christmas.

Thu. 22^nd Pathfinders - Please pray that Pathfinders will be content, safe and happy in His faith let them know the love of Heaven in their precious lives here on earth.

Fri. 23^rd Ichthus – Please pray for all our young folk, that the work that the banks for the Message and students from Genetik will sow seeds in the young peoples’ lives.

Sat. 24^th Pray that all our young people when temptations arise with drink, drugs, sex, materialism and other worldly ideals will think What Would Jesus Do.

Sun. 25^th HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!!! Pray for all our young people as they celebrate our Lord’s Birthday.

Mon. 26^th Children’s Church - Please pray for a few children who come spasmodically. Pray that the Lord will speak to their parents as the little ones cannot come on their own. Pray for the Lord's protection on them.

Tue 27^th Please pray for all our Leaders this week as they rest and celebrate our Lord’s

Birthday. May they rest in Him and may He inspire and encourage them.

Wed. 28^th Brownies - Please give thanks and praise for the continued commitment of our Brownie Guides.

Thu. 29^th Children’s Church - Please ask the Lord to be in all we do and say and are as we teach our young people in Children's Church

Fri. 30^th Impact- Please pray that the group will continue to gel well together, and that friendships will grow within the group.

Sat. 31st Please pray for all the teachers and pupils of Denton Community College, pray that the Name of Jesus may be heard here.

January, 2012

Sun. 1^st NEW YEAR’S DAY. 2012 Please pray that every young person in Haughton Green

will hear the Good News of Jesus this year.

Mon. 2^nd Pray for all our Christian teachers, that by their witness their faith will be seen. Praise God for them and pray that the Lord will daily fill then with His Holy Spirit.

Tue 3^rd Ichthus - Pray for our church young folk who go to Ichthus that they will be able to get alongside and encourage the others

Wed 4^th Pray for all Christian teenagers that they might stand firm in their faith and that God will protect them from the worldly pulls around them

Thu. 5^th Little Lambs – We have 2 more sessions of Little Lambs now, please pray for Steph.

and Helen as they take on this project and that they get enough helpers.

Fri. 6^th GAP - Pray for Helen and Steph. and praise God for their willingness to work with our

young folk.

Sat. 7^th Youth Fellowship – Please pray for our first meeting of 2012 tonight. Pray that as

We study God’s word; we will deepen our faith and strengthen our friendships.

Sun. 8^th Please continue to pray for Helen our Youth Co-ordinator pray that the Lord equips her with ability to help with our young people.

Mon. 9^th Praise for God's faithfulness in the past in providing leaders and that he might help us to trust him for the future

Tue. 10^th Ichthus - Praise God for all the young people that come along. Help them to know God’s love for themselves and to know that He cares for them. Pray for Helen and Aaron and their helpers. May the Lord encourage them in doing His work.

Wed. 11^th Pray for all our teenagers as they face worldly temptations, pray they will always remember that the Lord has plans for them, plans for them to do well.

Thu. 12^th Pathfinders - Pray for the Pathfinders that their desire to walk with Jesus will be stronger than their desire to be popular among their peers and thank God for Martin and Kate's willingness for Pathfinders to use their home each week

Fri. 13^th Impact - Please pray for a continued enthusiasm for the group in the work that they do.

Sat. 14^th Jam – Please pray as Jam meets this evening. Pray for all the helpers and that word will get around for our little ones to have fun with Jesus.

Sun. 15^th Please pray for St. John Fisher School. Pray that God’s love will be taught and all children will be given the opportunity to know about the Lord Jesus Christ.

Mon. 16^th Pray for the young musicians in our church family and ask that the Lord will encourage them as they share their talents with us.

Tue. 17^th Ichthus - Continue to pray for more helpers with Ichthus. If you feel you can help

Wed. 18^th GAP - Praise God for all our talented puppeteers, pray they have lots of fun as they use their talents.

Thu. 19^th Children’s Church -Pray for Janet and praise God for her faithfulness to Children’s Church throughout another busy year. Thank you Jesus!

Fri. 20^th Pathfinders - To give thanks and praise for all Jesus has done for our Pathfinders and church groups, and ask that any child who has strayed from the Lord’ s side will long to be near his side again.

Sat. 21^st Impact- Pray for Stephanie, Helen and Simon for inspiration and encouragement.

Sun. 22^nd Little Lambs - Pray for this important witness in our community, pray for the Little

Lambs’mums that they will meet Jesus in our Church Centre.

Mon. 23^rd Pray for all the staff and pupils at Manor Green school. May they know the saving Grace of the Lord Jesus

Tue. 24^th Ichthus - Pray for more helpers at Ichthus and that the ones we have got will remain to be committed. Pray for wisdom and unity for all the leaders

Wed. 25^th Children’s Church - Pray for all our children - that they may know the reality of Jesus in their everyday lives

Thu. 26^th Pray for our young folk, who have gone through Children’s Church, Pathfinders and YF and gone into the world. Pray they will remember what they’ve learnt and Praise God for those who have taught them.

Fri. 27^th Pray for all the members of Corrie Primary School. May God bless all His children there.

Sat. 28^th Praise God for Children’s Church teachers - Pathfinder leaders -Youth Fellowship Leaders - Impact leaders - Ichthus helpers. May the Lord bless them, and listen to our plea for more. We praise for the unity amongst the youth committee and all the youth leaders.

Sun. 29^th Please pray for all our young folk travelling around the world. May the Lord keep them safe. May He give them the opportunity to see His creation and may He bring them home safely.

Mon. 30^th Pathfinders - Pray for integrity and faithfulness as our Pathfinders go on with God
especially at school.

Tue. 31^st   Please give thanks for our Youth Leaders, teachers and helpers. Praise God for their willingness, talents and abilities
