August 2010:

Sun. 1st Please pray for Simon, Jess Sophie and Sam in Wensleydale hosting King’s Club, pray that the Lord will bless them during the next few days as they spread His word.

Mon. 2nd Brownies - Please pray for all Brownies throughout the world. May God’s blessings be upon them.

Tue. 3rd Please pray for all our young folk leaving primary education and going on to high schools. May they enjoy their holidays without nerves and look forward to their new schools.

Wed. 4th Please pray for all our young folk as they face the summer holidays, pray for good weather and for safety.

Thu 5th Pray for all Christian teachers as they enjoy their break, may they be renewed and refreshed.

Fri. 6th Ichthus - Although Ichthus are not meeting throughout August, please continue to pray for all the members and leaders. Pray especially for Helen and Barry and Aaron.

Sat. 7th Pathfinders - Please pray for the members of children’s church as they come into Pathfinders for the new year. Pray for our Pathfinders going into Youth Fellowship.

Sun. 8th Impact - Please pray for everyone as they take a break, pray they will come back with new ideas and they will learn new things and grow spiritually.

Mon 9th Pray that all our young people when temptations arise with drink, drugs, sex, materialism nd other worldly ideals will think What Would Jesus Do.

Tue. 10th Children’s Church - Please pray for all our little ones, as they change classes and meet new teachers, pray that they settle in quickly.

Wed. 11th Pray for Helen and her team as they hold a Craft Club in Church Centre. Pray that it will be well attended and for fun and fellowship. Also pray for Jo Shimwell who has a very complicated exam today. May she know God’s peace and presence

Thu. 12th Youth Fellowship - Please pray for our young folk as they take a rest over the summer. May God bless them and keep them safe.

Fri. 13th Ichthus - Please pray for all the Leaders, pray for wisdom, patience and understanding for all working with our Young Adults.

Sat. 14th Children’s Church - Please pray for a few children who come spasmodically. Pray that the Lord will speak to their parents as the little ones cannot come on their own. Pray for the Lord's protection on them.

Sun. 15th Please pray for the success of Denton Community College as Two Trees and Edgerton Park School combine. Pray for all the pupils and teachers.

Mon. 16th Brownies - Please pray that our Brownies will have a happy time during the school holidays, and that they will be kept from harm.

Tue. 17th Pathfinders -Please give thanks for the privilege of teaching His children .Please pray for God to grant his knowledge, wisdom and kindness into the hearts of his teachers.

Wed. 18th GAP - Pray for all our young puppeteers and for the success of this venture. Pray for Helen and Steph.

Thu. 19th A Level results will be out today. Please pray for young people and parents alike at this most important time.

Fri. 20th Ichthus - Pray for the youngsters that will be new to Ichthus in September, pray they will have the confidence to come along.

Sat. 21st Please pray for all our leaders that they will have a time of rest and church fellowship throughout August.

Sun. 22nd Pathfinders - Please pray the church’s youth and Pathfinders will be content, safe and happy in His faith let them know the love of Heaven in their precious lives here on earth.

Mon. 23rd Brownies - Please pray for all members of the Guide Assoc. throughout the world remembering especially those who live in difficult circumstances

Tue. 24th Children’s Church - As we start a new year please pray for a deepening of faith in all our children - even that which is as small as a mustard seed. Pray that our teachers feed and water, that they show with their actions as well as words they speak that they are led by the Holy Spirit.

Wed. 25th Pray four our Second Craft Club, pray for fun and fellowship and for some of the Little Lambs mums to come along.

Thu. 26th GCSE Results are out today. Please pray for all concerned. Pray that God makes his ways known to our young people.

Fri.. 27th Ichthus - We need more helper for Friday nights, please if you can spare just 1 Friday night per month please let Helen know.

Sat. 28th Brownies - Please give thanks and praise for the continued commitment of our Brownie Guides.

Sun. 29th Children’s Church - Please ask the Lord to be in all we do and say and are as we teach our young people in Children's Church

Mon. 30th Impact - Please pray that the group will continue to gel well together, and that friendships will grow within the group.

Tue. 31st Youth Fellowship - Pray for our Leaders this holiday time, that the Lord will refresh them and give them inspiration for what He has planned for them for the future.

September, 2010

Wed. 1st Please pray for all our Little Lambs children, planning to start school for the first time. Pray that the Lord will keep especially close to them.

Thu. 2nd Pathfinders - Pray for the Pathfinders when they go back to school: That their faith will keep them strong when forced into things against their will.

Fri. 3rd Ichthus - Pray for our church young folk who go to Ichthus that they will be able to get alongside and encourage the others

Sat. 4th Pray for all Christian teenagers that they might stand firm in their faith and that God will protect them from the worldly pulls around them

Sun. 5th Please pray for all our young folk as they prepare to go to Universities. May the Lord bless them with and help them to make good friendships.

Mon. 6th GAP - Pray for Helen and Steph. and praise God for their willingness to work with our young folk.

Tue. 7th Pray for the young musicians in our church family and ask that the Lord will encourage them as they share their talents with us.

Wed. 8th Please pray for Ann, Youth Co-ordinator pray that the Lord equips her with ability to help with our young people.

Thu. 9th Praise for God's faithfulness in the past in providing leaders and that he might help us to trust him for the future

Fri. 10th Ichthus - Praise God for all the young people that come along. Help them to know God’s love for themselves and to know that He cares for them. Pray for Helen Barry and Aaron and their helpers. May the Lord encourage them in doing His work.

Sat. 11th Pray for all our teenagers as they face worldly temptations, pray they will always remember that the Lord has plans for them, plans for them to do well.

Sun. 12th Pathfinders - Pray for the Pathfinders that their desire to walk with Jesus will be stronger than their desire to be popular among their peers and thank God for Martin and Kate's willingness for Pathfinders to use their home each week

Mon. 13th Impact - Please pray for a continued enthusiasm for the group in the work that they do.

Tue. 14th Children’s Church - Pray for all our children - that they may know the reality of Jesus in their everyday lives

Wed 15th Please pray for St. John Fisher School. Pray that God’s love will be taught and all children will be given the opportunity to know about the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thu. 16th Pray for Ann that she will know how to encourage the leaders we have and that she will have the wisdom to do what the Lord wants her to do.

Fri. 17th Ichthus - Continue to pray for more helpers with Ichthus. If you feel you can help please see Helen. Pray for tonight’s meeting.

Sat. 18th GAP - Praise God for all our talented puppeteers, pray they have lots of fun as they use their talents.

Sun.. 19th Children’s Church -Pray for Janet and praise God for her faithfulness to Children’s Church throughout another busy year. Thank you Jesus!

Mon. 20th Pathfinders - To give thanks and praise for all Jesus has done for our Pathfinders and church groups, and ask that any child who has strayed from the Lord’ s side will long to be near his side again.

Tue. 21st Impact - Pray for Stephanie, Helen and Simon for inspiration and encouragement.

Wed. 22nd Little Lambs - Pray for this important witness in our community, pray for the Little Lambs’ mums that they will meet Jesus in our Church Centre.

Thu. 23rd Pray for all the staff and pupils at Manor Green school. May they know the saving Grace of the Lord Jesus

Fri. 24th Ichthus - Pray for more helpers at Ichthus and that the ones we have got will remain to be committed. Pray for wisdom and unity for all the leaders

Sat. 25th Pray for Simon and Ruth and Nicola and Ted as they make wedding preparations later in the year .

Sun. 26th Brownies - Please pray for all past and present members of our Packs, especially those who are still members of St. Mary’s and those who are leading our Packs - Elaine, Barbara and Helen started as Brownies themselves.

Mon. 27th Pray for all the members of Corrie Primary School. May God bless all His children here.

Tue. 28th Praise God for Children’s Church teachers - Pathfinder leaders - Youth Fellowship Leaders - Impact leaders - Ichthus helpers. May the Lord bless them, and listen to our plea for more. We praise for the unity amongst the youth committee and all the youth leaders.

Wed. 29th Please pray for all our young folk travelling around the world. May the Lord keep them safe. May He give them the opportunity to see His creation and may He bring them home safely.

Thu. 30th Pathfinders - Pray for integrity and faithfulness as our Pathfinders go on with God especially at school.
