Family Worship

Whilst we provide a family slot in all of our services, we do have an 'All Age Worship' family service on the 1st Sunday of the month. This service is carried out by our All Age team and particularly aimed at children and families. There will be age appropriate worship, songs, bible stories and teachings, games and we maybe a visit from our GAP puppet friends TJ and Annie-May. We also have alternative worship/bible study groups for children and teenagers on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.

Children's Church is our Sunday morning church for those aged 4-11 years old. We meet in the Church Centre for the duration of that mornings service. Our sessions will be filled with bible reading, fun and games, with our aim being that the children will know more about the love of God when they leave than when they came in!

Pathfinders' is our group for young people who are secondary school age. We meet every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month in the Church Centre from 4:30-6pm. We aim to grow closer to Jesus through bible teaching and discussing what it means for us, as grow closer in friendship through having fun, playing table tennis, games and chatting.

Christian Development

St Mary’s continually strives to encourage, mentor and support those who are called to serve God.  We are pleased that we have been able to nurture many who now live beyond our parish and work in many varied ways for the Church, both within the UK and beyond.

Monthly Church Family Prayer Meetup

Meets on the first Thursday of the month (currently via Zoom). This is the opportunity for all members of the church to meet to primarily pray but also to study the Bible. Although small in number, it serves a specific need to seek first the kingdom of God. Prayer is what Jesus calls us too.  He tells us that it is the most important thing we can do - to draw close to God.  He shows us specifically how to pray, when to pray and where to pray - anyhow, any time and anywhere!
