Why give to our church?

 

We give our money to the work of the Lord, focusing on the ministry of our local church family, because our church is God’s plan to make Jesus known here in Haughton Green.

 

Giving is a privilege, given to us by God, and a way we thank Jesus for all he has done for us!

 

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.

Giving through Online Banking

If you would like to give to St Mary's Church (Haughton Green), below are instructions on how set up a standing order through your online banking. If you set up giving using online banking, it would help us a great deal if you could give John Hulme (our Treasurer) details of your standing order. This allows him to check that donations are being received as intended and helps us to plan and budget appropriately.

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer then please also complete a Gift Aid Declaration Form, as this will enable St Mary’s to recover an extra 25% from HMRC, without any additional cost to yourself. All you need to do is print out and complete the gift aid declaration attached and return to Andy Jordan, our Gift Aid secretary.
