Here at St. Mary's, we have a variety of groups for children and families, aimed to encourage and nurture relationships with one another, and God. Please read below to find out more about the various groups available.
Little Lambs is a popular community Carer and Toddler group that takes place 4 times a week during Tameside term-time. Our opening times are; Wednesday 12:30-2:30pm, Thursday 10am-12pm, Friday 10am-12pm and Saturday 10am-12pm.
We aim to provide an exciting, safe, friendly, and fun environment for children and their carers to socialise, play, interact and enjoy themselves with a variety of play activities with appropriate and child-friendly equipment for all preschool children. Through play, craft, stories, and song we also share the love of Jesus Christ and celebrate the Christian festivals throughout the year.
If you want a fun, family-friendly, faith-filled Church, then Messy Church is for you! We currently meet once or twice a term where we get messy, get fed and get filled with the love of Jesus.....everyone is welcome!

Children's Church is our Sunday morning church for those aged 4-11 (primary school age). We begin in the main body of the church with everyone, before leaving for more age-appropriate worship. Children's Church takes place each week during Tameside term-time, except the 1st Sunday of the month (we have All Age Worship/ Family Service).
We have a great team of dedicated leaders, assisted by our young people and whilst our aim is that the children will know more about the love of God when they leave than when they came in, fun, food and family are important parts of our Kids worship.
If your child is a member of Children's Church, but you have not yet completed a Consent Form for them, please do so here.
No one is too old or too young to worship - and in Little Faith, that is just what we do! Songs, sticking, stories and play make for a lovely morning of worship and praise for our little ones, aged 0-4 (pre-school). Little Faith takes place each week during Tameside term-time, except the 1st Sunday of the month (we have All Age Worship/ Family Service).
We have a fantastic DBS checked team who run Little Faith, who will look after your children or welcome you into the group if you wish to stay!
