Christmas is nearly here! We want to invite our Church family and community to come and hear about Jesus and celebrate his birth. Here are our upcoming Christmas services, and how you can join us for them. There is something for everyone!
In light of the spread of a new COVID-19 variant, omicron, please find our new guidance COVID regulations here.
For those who were not able to join us at our Bereavement service on Sunday 5th December, you can watch it here! Join us as we remember loved ones who have died, and hear of God’s help and hope as we miss them. If you are not able to light a physical candle you can light a virtual one through the Church of England website here. https://www.churchofengland.org/our-f...
Luke 1: 78-79 NIV: "...because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.”
Messy Church Christingle
We had a great time yesterday (12.12.21), at our Messy Christingle! Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating The Light for the world, Jesus, and to our amazing Messy volunteers for making it possible! We hope to see you at some of our upcoming Christmas services but if not, we hope you all have a fantastic Christmas! Our next Messy Church will be on Sunday 16th January. For more information on our Messy Church, please click here!
Carols by Candlelight
This is a popular service where we come together to sing carols, worship, and hear readings from the bible telling us about the true meaning of Christmas; The Light of the world, Jesus! This is on Sunday 19th December and you have the choice of the afternoon at 4pm, or the evening at 7pm. If you would like to join us for one of these services, please sign-up.

Christmas Eve Family Nativity
Regrettably, due to the rapid increase in the Omicron variant, we have decided to cancel our Christmas Eve Family Nativity Service. We are aware that this is a popular service and apologise to those this may disappoint, but as it is usually busy and energetic and the children are not easily able to socially distance nor do they wear masks, we thought it would be too risky to hold it. Thank you for your understanding during this time of uncertainty!
Christmas Day Celebration!
We will be having an all age Christmas celebration service where we will worship together, sing carols, and hear about the good news of Jesus' birth. This will be a more interactive service where we also ask members of the congregation (both young and old) to join in on the fun through games, quizzes, and our annual Christmas jumper contest. Saturday 25th December at 10:30am. We are still meeting in person (and online) for our Christmas Day Celebration, although in light of the rapid increase in the Omicron variant, face masks/coverings will need to be worn, and we will once again be social distancing.
COVID Update (23.12.21)
Due to the rapid increase in the Omicron variant social distancing will once again be required in our services in addition to routine wearing of face masks/coverings. This will include leaving a minimum of two seats between each party. Regrettably, for this reason we have also decided to cancel our Christmas Eve Family Nativity Service. Our Christmas Day Celebration is still going ahead under the new precautionary measures. However, our Boxing Day service is now cancelled although the sermon will be available online. Similarly, our New Year Service (Sunday 2nd Jan) will now take place online (Livestream). Further decisions will be made as appropriate for services after this period, and we will keep you updated as necessary.

The Festivities have begun!
On Sunday we started the festivities with putting up our Christmas tree and decorating the Church. A very big thank you to all those in our Church family who stayed behind after the service to help out! We even got a nice surprise of snow!
