The Church as a People

A thriving church which endeavours to meet the needs of the varying groups within our congregation and the wider community by actively living the message of the Gospel.
Prominent and active youthwork
We benefit from employing two part-time community/youth workers which enables us to forge and sustain important links with families, children, and young people.
Supporting our families and youth work
Messy Church – recently introduced and now a thriving part of our church; we provide an alternative service for adults and children to enjoy; to eat, be creative and to worship together.
Other groups and activities
We have given just a small sample of the church life at St Mary’s and there’s so much more we could share; Christingle, vow renewal services, Ladies Evenings, Men’s Breakfasts, prayer events, Weekends Away etc .…. but we’d much rather share it all with you in person.
We recognise the power and need for prayer in all that we do; it underpins each aspect of our church life whether that be within the church services, meetings, home groups or in the wider community.

St. Mary’s has proved over the last few decades that it has grasped Jesus’ command to love one another. This is highlighted by the amazing voluntary and paid work that comes under St. Mary’s banner throughout the week.
